use of TO

Hello

I am responsible for the realization of a database on plant viruses 
resistances and on research teams who study these topics (European 
project ResistVir). ResistVir-Db project is now at a very early stage 
and realization has not yet started. A public web interface should be 
available in a few months.
I am convinced that for such projects use of ontologies is of great 
interest. So I would like to know what could be done with TO.

Here are my questions about use of TO :
- Which is the organization responsible for Trait Ontology ?
- Am I allowed to load TO terms and definitions in the future 
ResistVir-Db ?
- Would it be possible to cite Trait Ontology only in main pages or is 
it necessary to include references on every dynamic page where some TO 
terms are used ?
- Am I allowed to include in our future web pages direct links towards 
TO pages (eg: 
http://www.gramene.org/db/ontology/search_term?id=id=TO:0000148) ?
- Do you intend to limit TO to current taxa or to extent gradually to 
other plant species ?
- Is the controlled vocabulary online submission form the best way of 
suggesting new terms ?

I have sent a similar e-mail to po at plantontology.org. May be the final 
recipients are the same ? In that case sorry for this redundancy.
