[Sciapps-support] ISSUES WITH SCIAPPS

Hi Dayo,

The TACC team has discover the issue that the Tapis API failed to retrieve the input data from CyVerse Data Store to SciApps. They are trying to figure out how this can be resolved.

In the mean time, I was told by my CyVerse friend to make following changes to the sci_data folder via icommands before the API issue is resolved. I tested it and was able to launch jobs from SciApps.

ichmod -r own ipcservices /iplant/home/YOUR_CYVERSE_USER_NAME/sci_data

Yes I have a scidata folder in cyverse:
/iplant/home/adedayo/sci_data/SRR2759170_1.fastq.gz
/iplant/home/adedayo/sci_data/SRR2759170_2.fastq.gz
I have used it several times. Its not just working now.

Do you have a sci_data folder and have you put data in it? You need to browse and select the data not paste the data in the form to make it work. Here is the instructions for setting up the sci_data folder.
