nodule

Perhaps we should rename it to "root nodule" and the ones Jeff is 
suggesting are termed "stem nodules".

This raises a question. Do we need a generic/grouping  term "nodule" of 
which "stem nodule" and "root nodule" are instances. Obviously in the 
ontology these nodules are part_of "stem" and "root" respectively.
