Hi Leonore,

Thanks for the update

There is one more bug in the term "pollen sac", the Xref ISBN is shoing up in
the ontology file instead of the Definition.

I remember sending some e mail on the development stages. I am a little confused
on how to define and curate development stages Vs Growth stages. It seems that
both  are either same (actually not !) or overlap, as it appears from TAIR
(yours) when the definitions suggest about meristem etc.

MaizeDB e.g.  
  %reproductive phase
   %gametophyte development 
    %pollen development 
    %embryo sac development . What i am trying to do is have 3-4 categories

growth /development stages (select which is more appropriate)
1. Germination (the physiology is different from the vegetative, includes
imbibition-radicle-coleoptile emergence)
2. Vegetative (seedling to flowering)
3. Reproductive (flowering to death of plant or fertilization)
4. Maturity (Embryonic for TAIR and linear grain filling from MaizeDB), includes
post fertilization and seed maturity)

Rice is definitely in a not so good situation, since the stages are not defined
at the microlevel. I tried to fit in the defined stages in the above 3-4
categories. let me know of your suggestions.
