[Gmod-help] Gmod Problem

Hey, I just signed up for steam, bought G-mod in a pack with counter strike 
source (whatever that is, I'm new to all of this), and downloaded G-mod but not 
counterstrike. I don't know if you need to download the source as well to get 
gmod to work, but it is really screwed up. It seems to be the textures. My gun 
is basically a stretched out blur of metal which still shoots, and it's really 
annoying as I can barely see anything. Also, a lot of the objects are messed up.
