Cool.  I'm in Panama now at Smithsonian Tropical Research Institute (STRI)
STRI, but will be in NC next week.  Glad to see things are moving forward.

On another note, I'm STRI's member of an SI bioinformatics and computational
working group.  The Smithsonian needs to get involved in this and perhaps
there is some good opportunities for collaboration.  The new UnderSecretary
for Science (Eva Pell) is going from Penn State and she has apparently made
it a Bioinformatics a priority.
