[Gmod-help] black screens

[Noah Zheutlin]

when i start gmod i get a black screen instead of the picture of a guy  
with a cone
on his head but the buttons work. then in single player the tool guns  
screen is
black and i cant change the npc weapon because the drop down menu does  
not open. please help!!! and i already tried
redownloading it. (pictures below)
