[Gmod-help] gbrowse file upload size limit

Hi helpdesk,

We've been running gbrowse at TAIR for over a year and periodically get 
user complaints about problems with uploading large third party 
annotation files.  One user reported that he could upload files 
containing graphical data (similar to GC content) for 250 KB of 
sequence, but uploading of data for 1 MB of sequence failed.

Can someone tell me if there is a way to upload third party annotation 
files spanning a whole eukaryotic genome?  I've seen mention of wiggle 
format preferred for large uploads, can this format be used to upload 
whole genome files?  Will future gbrowse versions handle larger file 
uploads?
