Hi Dave and Lincoln,

That can be done by adding a space to the version number, so that perl
interprets it as a string instead of a number, like this:

$VERSION = "1.70 ";

but I don't know if that will break anything else.  Lincoln, do you
think that would be OK?  I can't think of anything in the context of
the cgi that it would affect.
