Hello,
I have used Biomart and Gramene mart to download genes with a GO annotation for circadian rhythm. When I compare the two data sets for Arabidopsis, they match. When I compare the two data sets for Vitis vinifera, they do not match. In addition, in the Vitis vinifera set there are genes listed which have no evidence listed for circadian rhythm, and Vitis orthologs to genes in Arabidopsis as having circadian rhythm are not listed as having circadian rhythm in Vitis. Why do the files not match up between Biomart and Gramene mart for Vitis? And why are gene orthologs in Vitis not matched up with Arabidopsis?
