The release notes are available at: http:// www.plantontology.org/docs/release_notes/index.html In this new release, the major difference is that we introduced over 8000 rice QTL from Gramene Database (www.gramene.org) into POC, cereal researchers are encouraged to use PO terms to describe Plant Structure and Plant Growth Stages associated with their QTL of interest. One example ( PTHT, QTL for plant height ) can be found at: http://www.plantontology.org/amigo/go.cgi? action=query&view=query&session_id=4865b1173468682&query=plant +height&search_constraint=gp To view other changes please visit the plant ontology browser available at http://www.plantontology.org/amigo/go.cgi The new ontology files and the database dump is available for download.
