terms for roots [Leszek, Mary, Marty]

Pankaj,

These roots are called a variety of names by different people 
(seminal roots, lateral seminal roots, secondary roots, scutellar 
nodal roots, etc).   As long as all the synonyms are given, I don't 
care which name becomes the primary name.  However, I think that 
Leszek and I are convinced that they originate from the scutellar 
node proper.  So, the definition needs to be changed.  They are not 
'root from node above scutellum', they originate within the scutellar 
node.
