The definition of the term 'septum' says 
A thin partition or membrane that divides a cavity or a mass of tissue, e.g., in anther, ovary or fruit.

The term we have is very generic and is a child of anther and carpel as well. We need to add various instances where it is found as separate terms because even called by the same name ontogenically its development in anther and carpel is different.
