Margaret,

Yes, I can see the same behavior.  I've spent some time investigating  
this, and I'm not sure what the problem is.

Will,

When the search for "CLP0023043247-cF273_20040205" works, one hit is  
found in "Ensembl Indica" to this DNA align feature:

	http://www.gramene.org/Oryza_sativa_indica/featureview? 
type=DnaAlignFeature;id=CLP0023043247-cF273_20040205

The code that finds this match isn't using the quick search db but  
rather the Ensembl API directly.  Can you comment on why it's only  
found sporadically?
