poplar genome

Dear Doreen,

Actually we are currently working on the grape genome sequencing
project. And we regret that no "ensembl/ucsc"-like repository with
complete plant ressource exist today (it's sometimes hard to find a
ressource, sequence as well as annotations, between the different
repository, the different versions, etc...). Many plant genomes are in
the tube and I think that such site would be intensively usefull for
the community. Similar problem can exist in some other clades.

We also think about how the grape genome sequence will be the more
visible.
