Dear Sanjay,

Our developer, Steve, just reminded me that we actually have two rice gene
records related with "fgr".

After checking them, however, I found they are still "under curation".

Based on some files at my hand, the best paper discussing on the fgr
sequence is following:

Unforturnately via Cornell library, I  can only access the abstract of the
article. However, from the abstract you still can see the fgr is related
with "betaine aldehyde dehydrogenase".

Using that keyword to do the Gramene generic search, you can find
following protein record:

>From the rice protein page, selecting "Click here to generate a BLASTP

The highest hits for the rice protein sequence are on chro. 8 on which one
of the fgr genes has been originally mapped. Thus, that protein and
related genome positions could be related with "fgr" that you are
interested.
