Greetings Gene Ontology Experts,

Browsing through your ontology, I have seen terms/structures that have
been marked 'obsolete'. May I ask what does this label mean and the
reason why a term or structure has been rendered as such? Example of
terms are chromatin, chromatid and DNA.

My work deals mainly with entry of data into a huge ontology of anatomical
macroscopic and microscopic structures and your website has been a very
fruitful resource.

Thank you and good health.

August
