Dr. Doreen ware contacted you earlier telling you about the Ontology workshop 
jointly hosted by Gramene and Deep Gene projects at the coming PAG-XII on 
January 12.

The details are:

Title:Development and Implementation of Ontologies in the Database: An NSF 
sponsored Training Workshop
Room: Royal Palm Salon 5 & 6
Date: Sunday, January 12 2003

3:20 pm - 6:00 pm

The workshop will focus on
-Introduction to the ontologies and What you can do ?
-Hands on training session with tutorials
-Discussion session.
    -What is your opinion about ontology
    -Do you think their implementation in databases is in the right direction
    -What are your expectation
    -Your suggestions and feedback.


Due to space constrains at the venue, we will be providing 10 Computer terminals 
in the workshop room for you and your designate to access the tutorials. However 
the room will have a wireless internet access and you are most welcome to access 
the tutorials on your personal computer.
