gene annotation

To whom it may concern,

I have found differences in gene annotation and predicted intron/exon 
structure for rice genes found in Genbank and Gramene. I would like to 
know whichof the 2 databases is considered "safer" and more up-to-date 
on gene annotation? Are completed clone sequences being submitted 
simultaneously to both databases?
