chromosomal coordinates

To whom it may concern,
While locating genes in the rice genome with Gramene, I often find it
necessary to know the coordinates of the gene with respect to the
BAC/PAC clone on which it was sequenced. However, in the gene view page
of Gramene I am only able to find chromosomal coordinates for the gene
and its intron/exon structure. Since only 3 chromosomes have been
completely assembled into contigs to date, I am worried that the
chromosomal coordinates given for genes on other chromosomes will
change once they are assembled into contigs. Is this true? Is there a
way of obtaining clone coordinates for genes from Gramene.
Thank you,
Ana Caicedo
