a question

Hi.  I've been looking at your 'Maize - UMC 1998 - 9' map.  Why are some labels red and 
others aren't?  If there's a reason, it's not obvious to me (there's no key to color), but

maybe I'm just not looking in the right places.  Could you clarify this for me?
