Hi Vicky,

We are using sendmail 8.12.8, http://www.sendmail.org/, 
(with the security patch -- you should just get 8.12.9)
with Ray's mail filter http://www.sendmail-filter.sbu.ac.uk/ to block viruses.
(you have to compile sendmail from source to do this)

We use majordomo 1.94.5
http://www.greatcircle.com/majordomo/
for mailing list management.
and majorcool to administer the approval queue.
Majorcool is no longer supported, but you can get it in .rpm
form from RedHat - it's all  Perl, so it shouldn't be Linux-specific.

We use hypermail 2.1.7  to generate the archive.

And swish-e  2.1-dev-25  to build the index:
