Connections from Brie to Oracle DBs on chevre and gruyere

Hi Xiaokang,

I was able to fetch sequences from the DNA table on chevre on both
brie2 and brie.
This was somewhat slow.
http://brie2:8082/gramene/seq/foo.pl
http://www.gramene.org/gramene/seq/foo.pl

It seems that most of the slowness is due to chevre:
http://chevre/perl/foo.pl
vs.
http://gruyere/perl/foo.pl
