Appearance of Gramene Ensembl pages

I checked out the above three examples using Konqueror (on my iBook
running YellowDog Linux 2.0), and the background comes up as black.  I
see in the source that the <BODY>'s background attribute is set to the
empty string ("").  In Netscape and Mozilla, it displays as a white
background.  Perhaps the value should be stated absolutely.
