[Gramene-announce] Gramene database build 49 released -- Introducing EMS-induced mutant variation in sorghum

The Gramene Team is pleased to announce its release #49. In collaboration with Ensembl Plants, we are providing in this release:

  *   New EMS-derived mutation data for Sorghum bicolor

  *   New variation data for Oryza glumaepatula

  *   Updated Oryza longistaminata assembly and annotations

  *   Updated Compara gene trees

  *   Updated protein domain information based on the latest InterProScan

  *   Updated gene, sequence and variation BioMarts

  *   Updated software, genome browser, database schema and API to Ensembl version 83

  *   SIFT scores added for barley variation (also available in the Variant Effect Predictor)
