[Gramene-announce] Gramene database build 51 released

The Gramene Team is pleased to announce its release #51. In collaboration with Ensembl Plants, we are providing in this release:

  *   Five new genomes:
     *   Beta vulgaris<http://ensembl.gramene.org/Beta_vulgaris>, Brassica napus<http://ensembl.gramene.org/Brassica_napus>, and Trifolium pratense<http://ensembl.gramene.org/Trifolium_pratense>
     *   Galdieria sulphuraria<http://ensembl.gramene.org/Galdieria_sulphuraria> and Chondrus crispus<http://ensembl.gramene.org/Chondrus_crispus> (rhodophyta genomes transferred from Ensembl Protists)
  *   Two updated genomes
     *   Zea mays<http://ensembl.gramene.org/Zea_mays> (RefGenV4) and Triticum aestivum<http://ensembl.gramene.org/Triticum_aestivum>
  *   Updated protein features from InterPro and peptide comparative genomics
  *   Updated putative split gene<ftp://ftp.gramene.org/pub/gramene/CURRENT_RELEASE/data/split_genes/> annotation artifacts

  *   Updated gene and variation BioMarts
  *   Updated software, genome browser, database schema and API to Ensembl v85 software<http://ensembl.org/info/website/news.html?id=85>
