[Gramene-announce] Gramene database build 46 released

The Gramene Team is pleased to announce its release #46. In collaboration with Ensembl Plants<http://plants.ensembl.org> we are providing in this release:

  *   Updated assembly for tomato<http://gramene.ensembl.org/Solanum_lycopersicum> to v2.50

  *   New variation data from the Wheat HapMap and and updated genotypes from CerealsDB

  *   New probe data for barley

  *   Updated whole genome alignments for Solanum lycopersicum vs Arabidopsis thaliana, Oryza sativa Japonica, and Vitis vinifera

  *   Peptide comparative genomics data across all species

  *   Updated cross-references to UniProtKB across all species

  *   Updated software, genome browser, database schema and API to Ensembl version 80

  *   Updated gene, sequence and variation BioMarts
