Gramene Workshop
12:30 - 2:00 pm, Sunday, July 25
The Gramene Database is a comparative mapping resource for grasses. It
leverages the use of the sequenced rice genome (~430Mb) as an anchor for
understanding the biology of agronomically important cereal crops. During
the workshop, example genetic and genomic questions will be answered while
showcasing the functions of the main modules, including the comparative
mapping tool (CMap), QTL, Proteins, Mutants and the Genome Browser.
