<div><br></div><div>We are looking for a new member of our Boston-area based team. The successful applicant will play a key role in the development of computational approaches to the management and analysis of large-scale sequence data sets from existing sources and next-gen sequencing experiments. </div>
<div><br></div><div>Strong programming skills and deep knowledge of sequencing data and bioinformatics tools are essential.</div><div><br></div><div>The ideal candidate will have experience with the following things:</div>
<div>- The GMOD tool set</div><div>- Bioinformatics data formats and tools</div><div>- Scripting languages: Perl, Python and/or Ruby</div><div>- Java and/or Groovy/Grails programming</div><div>- Javascript/AJAX programming</div>
<div>- Databases (SQL and/or NoSQL)</div><div>- Linux/Unix programming, maintenance, administration</div><div><br></div><div>An MA/MS or Ph.D. in bioinformatics is preferred but not required. Salary will be commensurate with experience.</div>
