Hi Steve, (and Scott, Lincoln, Todd, and Hilmar)<br><br>Thanks for the link. Except for the due date (6 October), the program sounds like it could be a good way to fund a GMOD UK center and staff. It looks like this program ends in 2011, although the support can last up to 5 years. Hmmm. If there is a call next year, maybe we should look into this.<br>

The 2010 call for the Bioinformatics and Biological Resources (BBR) fund was announced on 1 September 2010. The call aims to support the establishment, maintenance and enhancement of bioinformatic and biological resources that align to BBSRC's Strategic Plan and which demonstrate a strong demand from the UK bioscience community.<br>

The call is a two step process with an intention to submit closing date of 6 October 2010 and a full application closing date of 24 November 2010.<br>
