Dear Tony,

I don't know for sure when support for microarray intensity histograms was added to GBrowse. However, I do know that
1.69, which is available from CVS, but hasn't been officially released yet, adds support for all kinds of quantitative data, so I believe it is likely that the historgrams were added since 1.68.

Regardless, 1.69 has many new features, and we recommend upgrading to it.

Regards,

Dave Clements
GMOD Help Desk

On Thu, Jul 24, 2008 at 5:38 AM, tony KAOMA MUKENDI <tkaomamuken@jouy.inra.fr> wrote:

Thank you very much for your answer. It's what I'm looking for. I use gbrowse-1.68. I followed instructions of
http://www.wormbase.org/db/seq/gbrowse/briggsae/?help=annotation#numeric. Unfortunately, it still does not run.
It is perhaps cause by the version of gbrowse(www.wormbase.org <http://www.wormbase.org/db/seq/gbrowse/briggsae/?help=annotation#numeric> uses gbrowse-1.69). what do you think about?
describes how to show a microarray intensity historgram in GBrowse. Is this what you are looking for?

You can also show microarray intensity with wiggle tracks. See
Can you help me please?

I would like to add a graphic like histogram to represent
microarray expression data. I don't know what kinde of plugin use.
My data are store in data base Chado model. Using a plugin
annotaror and a Gbrowse's track, I can load expression data during
a Gbrowse's search but
I don't know what I cant do for draw a histogram and add it to
Gbrowse's detail panel.
