Lincoln, Hilmar,

Thanks for undoing the vandalism. I have blocked both new users, and deleted the new page.

Tomorrow (Tuesday) l will figure out how to grant everyone on the list the requested abilities.

We currently require users to create a login (and read and retype a CAPTCHA) before they can edit. We could tighten this in probably any number of ways, such as requiring a valid e-mail address, or approval from a sys admin. These are all against the wiki way, but spending your holiday weekend undoing vandalism is not time well spent.

I'll investigate and let you all know what I find.

Good night,

Dave C

On Mon, May 26, 2008 at 10:50 AM, Hilmar Lapp <hlapp@duke.edu> wrote:
Hi,

I was trying to see more information about GMOD sites components, but noticed that the page had been changed.

http://www.gmod.org/wiki/index.php/GMOD_Components

Similarly was

http://www.gmod.org/wiki/index.php/About_This_Site
http://www.gmod.org/wiki/index.php/GMOD_Help_Desk

As I started to see where to report this. The history though works fine, so I'm able to browse what I need, but pages should be fixed back to what they should be (and user 'Pr03mb4' blocked).

Thanks,
