[Gmod-help] Lua Cache Error

Hey there! I own a copy of Garry's mod, I have come across a very annoying error that I can not seem to find the solution for...

I have looked on the internet for the solution to my problem like I usually do, but the answers are usually vague and they never work ~ So my question is:

How do I fix the error "lua cache could not be downloaded, server is misconfigured" (Not in those exact words, but you should know the error)

It basically stuffs up my entire playing experience whenever I go on a server. Nothing loads, and I consistently have streams of errors on the side of my screen showing the countless errors that pop up. I have looked around, and it has said that it has something to do with FastDL, but I am no computer expert so you may need to explain the fixing process in baby steps if that is alright :D
