Hi Abdu,

Are you aware of the AraCyc project:

  http://www.arabidopsis.org/biocyc/

Since you want to work on pathway information, it makes sense to start with
that.  They accept improvements to the pathway data.  Additionally, they
might also allow you to clone the data set that they have now and then you
can run Pathway Tools on your own hardware.
