[Gmod-help] please Help!!!

Hi I need help on just opening Gmod. I have played Gmod for over 100 hours
on this computer and earlier this week an update came out.After I downloaded
it i tried to start the game,The usual came up(the steam tab saying that
Gmod is preparing to launch).Then in about one second it
just disappeared and Gmod did not open.I have tried countless times but the
same happens.I tried restarting my computer and steam.Nothing has worked and
so now I am asking you for help.     HELP!!!
