[Gmod-help] GMOD isn't working, please help me!

Hi GMOD people,

I recently bought Gary's mod, and it installed all well and good. I clicked launch and it seemed to start fine, but when the start up loading screen with the picture of the guy with the gun slung over his shoulder came up, it just crashed back to windows. What's going on here and how can I fix it?
