I am working as an undergraduate in Dr. Jim Hu's lab at Texas A&M University where we operate EcoliWiki [ http://EcoliWiki.net ]. One advantage of EcoliWiki is that anyone with an account can edit our pages, which facilitates collaboration and community between different labs. Currently, we have 146,196 pages and almost 1,000,000 page edits, and we are usually within the top five E. coli related searches from [ http://Google.com ].
You have been emailed because your website has been added to our list of databases, but not much information is listed yet. Because our site is very high on Google searches, it would be beneficial to add more information about your site, such as how your website works, and what features it offers. We have already started your page for you, which you can find here when you scroll to the bottom of the page: [ http://ecoliwiki.net/colipedia/index.php/Databases ].
To do any editing, you will first need to sign up for an account with us. Please email me back and include what you want your preferred log in name to be. Don't worry if you don't know how to edit wiki pages yet. After you sign up for an account, we will be forwarding you instructions on how to do that. Signing up won't take but a few minutes, and we would greatly appreciate it!
Thanks from everyone at the Hu Lab,
Amanda Supak
