[Gmod-help] help with Garrys Mod

Hi! I bought Garrys Mod on Steam a few days ago. I had 1 of games with source engine installed (Counter Strike: Source). I installed it and entered, but before the main menu came up, the game crashed. I got a tip from a friend because he had the same problem. He asked me to put this in the "Launch options": "-32bit -dxlevel 8". It worked! My menu was showing, and the game started working. But then the big problems appeared. My menu went "ugly" : picture 1 & 2.

 

 

anyways. I also experienced a problem with my weapons menu. The menu will not show at all, but still i am able to change weapons. I find it a problem, since my add-ons will most likely appear in the weapons menu. I managed to spawn a weapon add-on, but the weapon does not appear on the screen, but it is there! fully working, but not showing. Most of the fun disappears.. Now. My last problem, and the biggest. When I play multiplayer mode, My "Q" menu does not appear at all. And it is not there either.. I cant click and luckily spawn a icon.. I dont know what causes these problems.. I have a fairly good computer!

I tried to install Half life 2 and i reinstalled the Gmod completely (Deleted Local content and Program files) Then I did not see any difference in my gameplay. I dont know what to do. I have wanted this game for a year, and finally I got it! So please, help me! Thanks! -Tommy Hamsund
