Dear friends,

I've been trying to install GBrowse on Mac OS X version 10.5.6. I've
followed The Fink way and could install mysql and gd2, now when i run the
netinstaller script , while it is installing prerequisites for BioPerl it
says "Undefined subroutine &Compress::Zlib::gzopen called at
/System/Library/Perl/5.8.8/CPAN.pm line 5721. "

Here's the complete output of running netinstall.pl :

"About to install GBrowse and all its prerequisites.

You will be asked various questions during this process. You can almost
always

accept the default answer (with a notable exception of libgd on MacOSX;

see the documentation on the GMOD website for more information.)

The whole process will take several minutes and will generate lots of
messages.

Press return when you are ready to start!

Kindly suggest the possible reason for this and how to get out of it.

Thanking You
