[Gmod-help] Gmod Problems

Hello

I need help with Gmod.  My Team Fortress 2 ragdolls look burnt when I 
spawn them, and I have no idea why this is occurring (I have pictures 
enclosed).   Also, my health meter does not show, none of the Gmod 
notifications show either (which I assume are tips or something, I 
haven't seen them, I just hear drops of water.) and Gmod will not let me 
use any drop down menus; it takes me out of the spawn window whenever I 
try. Also, the water in all of the levels looks odd as well.  I have 
tried verifying the identity of the game cache files for both Gmod and 
Team Fortress 2 (both which I bought legitimately off of Steam) and I 
have uninstalled and installed both games again.  I have also gone to 
the support forums on facepunch studio and the Gmod wiki, but I have 
found no useful information that could help me fix these problems.   Is 
there any way that I can fix this problem?

P.S.

I don't know whether this will help, but the developer console always 
says this whenever I try to spawn a Pyro from TF2 (the same thing 
happens with all of them but I am using the pyro as an example.)
