Thanks for cc'ing me in to the conversation.
As far as we are aware, the Jalview source in GMOD was a snapshot - we
have had no real contact with anyone from GMOD during my time on Jalview
and haven't made any contributions to the jalview module in the codebase.
If anyone is interested in refreshing the Jalview/GMOD 'special
relationship' then please email. We will be starting a new round of
development shortly, so now is the time to discuss such things - in
particular, we will probably provide Jalview bundles via a maven
repository, which may simplify GMOD dependency management.
