[Gmod-help] GMOD Course in Europe

Hi Dave,

Have fun at the wedding. Sounds good.

I currently have no estimate on how many people would be willing to join
a GMOD course in Europe. I will post a mailing on the BBC mailing list
and our internal channels to gather some response. Did you contact
Stephanie as well?

For the longer term: NBIC is currently in the process of setting up a
Research School. We could start a discussion to include the curriculum
of the GMOD Course into the Research School course curriculum, including
other tutorials from our own community as well. Such a course normally
runs for 5 days. 

If you like I can introduce this idea to the people who are currently
shaping the education part of the Research School.

Greetings from Edinburgh!  I'm up here for two weeks for a wedding
this weekend.

Thanks for creating the page. I'll take a look at it today and
tomorrow.  However, my experience is that Europeans have exceptional
English skills, so don't expect much actual editing.

There has been recent discussion with several Oxford folks about a
GMOD Course in Europe.  Do you have any estimate on how many people
from your research community would be interested in attending a course
somewhere in Europe?  There would likely be tuition to help pay for
travel expenses.
