Comments : Dear Gramene Team,

I'm trying to use refseq_rna from NCBI with NAM5.0 maize genome downloaded from Gramene.
I know, that NAM5.0 is included in GenBank, but is this exactly the same sequence?
At least transcripts from Gramene and refseq_rna have differences.

I can see that at Gramene genome file has 604Mb https://download.maizegdb.org/Zm-B73-REFERENCE-NAM-5.0/
and at NCBI it has 620.Mb https://ftp.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/genomes/refseq/plant/Zea_mays/latest_assembly_versions/GCF_902167145.1_Zm-B73-REFERENCE-NAM-5.0/

Can I mix data from both sources (Gramene, NCBI), or not?

Best Wishes,
Maciej
