I am using the gene structure annotation provided at ftp://ftp.gramene.org/pub/gramene/CURRENT_RELEASE/gff3/zea_mays/Zea_mays.AGPv4.36.gff3.gz which has ids in the form of \"Zm00001d027230\" and I was attempting to use the gene ontology annotation provided at ftp://ftp.gramene.org/pub/gramene/CURRENT_RELEASE/ontology/go/go_ensembl_zea_mays.gaf which uses ids like \"GRMZM2G360873\". Are these referring to the same gene and is there an easy way to convert between these two ids. Or if the genes are different is there an updated gene ontology annotation that I should be using?
