My name is Lauren Privitera and I am an undergraduate research assistant in Dr. Ann Stapleton’s Lab at the University of North Carolina Wilmington. I am currently trying to design an ARMS primer for intermated B73 and Mo17 recombinant inbred lines to determine if the seeds that I have germinated are the same genotype as the known data lists. 

I am writing to acquire the SNP alleles at on Chromosome 5, Region 3, the DNA sequence surrounding that position, and the list of which allele of that SNP is present in each of the IBM94 population lines (the MOxxx lines).
