    What I don't like about the new genome annotation in Gramene is that paralogs for a certain gene are exclusively listed as ZM00001d....., which is super annoying as everybody has lists with GRMs as IDs.

    same issue with Biomart, it doesn't help to see orthologs of a gene as ZM00001d..... where I have to check every single entry on Gramene to get the GRM.

    also, I was interested in Zm00001d052418, which is a novel gene model. the protein coding sequence shown on Gramene (no UTRs btw) contains plenty of stop codons, thus it can't be right. I hope that this is an exception...
