Hello,

My name is Dr. Ashley Lough and I am an Assistant Professor of Biology at Central Methodist University. I have used Gramene in my sequence analysis and need to cite Gramene in my manuscript, but I'm not clear on how to find "the version of Gramene being used (identified on the Home page)" (quote from instructions on how to cite Gramene). I used Gramene on 7/28/15 to collect nucleotide and protein sequences of Zea mays gene models. I started at the website: http://ensembl.gramene.org/Zea_mays/Info/Index. I found that the database version for Zea mays was 80.6, is that what you are talking about in a citation?

Thanks for you help!

Best wishes,
Ashley
